Summary

DSI Tech is hiring an Audio-Visual Field Engineer to join their team in Northern Virginia/DMV, Cape Coral, FL, or Dallas, TX. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing RFPs and RFIs, completing site evaluations, installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, providing ongoing maintenance and support, and generating reports. They must have 5+ years of AV engineering experience, proficiency in programming AV control systems, and various certifications.

Requirements

• AV Engineer experience: 5+ years
• Proven experience in AV system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Proficiency in programming AV control systems: editing, debugging, and loading code (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC.)
• Knowledge of audio and video signal processing, distribution, and routing
• Audio DSP programming and gain structure (Biamp, Extron DMP, QSC Core)
• Certifications: CTS (CTS-I or CTS-D preferred), Crestron DMC-E, Extron AV Associate, Biamp Tesira Forte

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to RFP and RFI documentation provided by Federal, State, Local, and/or Educational Institutions
• Complete site evaluation to determine client requirements and design specifications
• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of audio-visual equipment
• Provide ongoing maintenance and onsite or remote support for installed AV systems
• Generate detailed reports on installation activities, troubleshooting, and maintenance services
