Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Basis Technologies, a leading provider of software solutions for digital media operations, as a DSP QA Automation Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests for the company's backend systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of their platform. This role involves working with APIs, backend services, SQL and NoSQL databases, containerized environments, and Amazon cloud infrastructure. You will also contribute to the team's efforts in integrating AI into the automation process and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Great coding skills and experience in Java and Java Script
• OO development, data-structures, SQL, MongoDB
• Great understanding of web-apps architecture design and client-server technologies
• Experience in API testing
• Experience of work with Linux, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the design and implementation of our DSP Backend automation test suite
• Designing test plans and implementing automated tests for our APIs and Jobs
• Being the voice of quality in highly collaborative agile product teams
• Managing the transition of the environment and our automated test suites to the cloud
• Integrating AI into the automation process
• Acknowledging and embracing diversity of thought and opinion and approach with Beeps, clients and vendors, regardless of background, culture, and organizational level

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer science, Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Playwright framework
• Experience with UI automation, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Page Object Model, Unit Test frameworks
• DevOps knowledge and experience
• Experience with the entire development cycle of projects
• Excited by a fast-paced product development environment
• Passion for Ad-Tech
