Banking Operations Associate

Summary

Join Unit, a market leader in embedded finance, as a Part-Time Banking Operations Analyst. This role involves supporting the Banking Operations team by analyzing and processing transactions and disputes. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in banking and payment operations, proficiency in Google Workspace, and a team-oriented mindset. The position is part-time (10-20 hours/week) and open to US-based candidates, with a preference for those in New York City. The compensation is $25 per hour. Requirements

• 1+ years experience with banking and payment operations; fintech experience a big plus
• Team mindset and willingness to support a program that is closely integrated with other business units (operations, customer success, product, and technology)
• Interest in learning and comfort with adapting quickly in fast-moving environments
• Part time availability of 10-20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day support of the processing of payment transactions (ACH, debit, wires and check deposits) and disputes
• Monitoring transactions for possible fraudulent and suspicious activity
• Communicating with Clients regarding payments activity

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred
