Banking Operations Intern

Summary

The Operations Intern will support the team by creating technical documentation, streamlining processes, and providing operational support in a banking institution. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn about banking operations and develop skills in technical writing and process optimization.

Requirements

• Currently between studies or a recent graduate, available for 4 to 6 months
• Proficiency in basic English is essential for effective interaction with internal stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and documentation skills
• Interest in banking or financial operations (experience is a plus but not required)
• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Perform transaction related activities and assist with the daily processing of deposits and withdrawals under supervision
• Technical Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining clear and concise operational manuals, process guides, and SOPs
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify existing workflows and support the team in implementing efficiency improvements
• Regulatory Reporting: Assist with the preparation of periodic regulatory and compliance reports as required
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide general support to the team on various tasks, including gathering data for reports

Preferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and SQL is a plus
