Summary
Join Hitachi Digital's Global People Services (GPS) team as a Benefits Team Lead, supporting strategic benefits programs and operations for North America and Latin America. You will assist employees with benefits inquiries, manage onboarding processes, support benefit communications, and improve operational efficiency through HR technology. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining benefits documents, proposing process improvements, generating reports, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of HR experience, including benefits and payroll, and is bilingual (English and Spanish). A BS in HR or a related field is preferred. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in multiple HR disciplines including benefits, payroll, HR policies, HRIS
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, especially in English and Spanish
- Analytical, detail-oriented and project management focused
- Experience working with Excel sheets and formulas
- Successful experience working in high growth, dynamic entrepreneurial environments
- Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Assist employees with Benefits related inquiries and issues, including Health Insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
- Facilitate the onboarding process by managing registrations, documentation, medical coverage, etc., ensuring a good employee experience
- Support ongoing benefits communication and coordinate/drive benefit related events (ex. open enrollment, health fairs, employee wellness)
- Create efficiencies by leveraging HR technology to help automate operational processes
- Create, maintain, and update accurate Benefits related documents, processes and procedures
- Propose and execute improvements to the existing processes of the area, guaranteeing a great experience for all those involved, ensuring optimization and effectiveness in its execution and control
- Assists with various standard and ad hoc reports, audits and filings throughout the year
- Stakeholder management with benefitsΒ΄ vendors
Preferred Qualifications
- Portuguese is a nice to have
- BS degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience as administrator for enterprise HRIS/payroll systems (i.e. ADP, Paylocity), ADP Workforce Now
