BI Engineer

Summary

Jalasoft is seeking a skilled Azure Data & BI Engineer to develop and manage data solutions using Microsoft Azure and create business intelligence reports. The role involves working with various teams to ensure data accessibility and integrity while implementing best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, with a background in building solutions using the Microsoft Azure technologies
• Proven experience in Power BI, with a strong focus on data modeling and data warehouse modeling
• Advanced skills in data transformation using Power Query, DAX, and calculated measures
• Ability to create complex and insightful reporting visualizations
• Experience designing and implementing data architectures using medallion architecture (bronze, silver, and gold) and snowflake schemas with bridge tables
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (ADX) for data ingestion and transformation
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse implementations using Spark

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing data solutions using Microsoft Azure
• Creating insightful business intelligence reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data artifacts
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience building cloud-native applications using PaaS services
