Join Pomelo Care, a multi-disciplinary team passionate about improving care for moms and babies, as a Healthcare Administrator. You will support the clinical practice's efficiency by owning key operational and administrative processes. Responsibilities include providing care navigation support, entering patient data, monitoring a support phone line, completing eligibility checks and filing claims, and developing new workflows. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of healthcare administration experience, ideally in virtual care, fluency in Spanish and English, familiarity with SDOH platforms, and a meticulous attention to detail. Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- 4+ years healthcare administration experience, ideally having worked within virtual care
- Familiarity with SDOH platforms and referrals
- Results-oriented operator who moves fast

Responsibilities
- Work closely with clinical staff to provide care navigation support for patients who need help finding providers in their network and/or being connected to other care or social services
- Fill out patient data in our EHR from continuity of care documents and questionnaires
- Monitor our member support phone line and answer any questions that patients call in with
- Complete eligibility checks for new and existing patients and file claims
- Develop new workflows focused on improving care coordinator efficiency
