Billing Supervisor

Summary

Join Candid, a company revolutionizing medical billing, and lead our onshore and offshore billing teams. You will oversee work prioritization, monitor team productivity and quality, and analyze claims to ensure excellent customer outcomes. Responsibilities include leading, supporting, and removing roadblocks for the billing team to meet targets, identifying initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, and flagging billing lifecycle patterns to inform product and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience leading medical billing teams, strong analytical skills, a preventive approach to revenue cycle management (RCM), and experience across various specialties, states, and telehealth billing. Excellent communication skills are essential. The salary range is $95,000-$125,000 USD, with potential for equity and other benefits.

Requirements

• Have previous experience leading medical billing teams and are viewed as an empowering leader
• Have strong analytical skills - you have a learning and investigative mindset and value those mindsets in others
• Approach RCM from a preventive standpoint vs being reactive - you have a mindset of preventing denials/rejections upstream
• Have a wide range of experience across multiple specialties, multi state billing, and tele-health billing
• Have a wide range of Revenue Cycle Management experience such as EDI Enrollments, Payment Posting and Reconciliation, Denial Resolution and Management, etc
• Are capable of rolling up your sleeves but can be flexible / resourceful to adapt to the ever changing needs of the business
• Are a clear and concise communicator; you enjoy the challenge of explaining complicated ideas in simple terms, both in-person and in writing

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the RCM Lead for oversight of Candid’s onshore and offshore billing teams including prioritization of work, monitoring of team productivity & quality, and claims analysis to ensure we achieve excellent customer outcomes and KPIs
• Lead, support, and unblock our talented billing team to ensure billing targets are attained
• Identify and own initiatives that continually increase the focus areas and operational effectiveness of our billing team
• Identify and flag patterns in our billing lifecycle to help inform product and engineering solutions

• The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 USD
