Billing Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years in billing, accounting, or a related finance field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience managing billing operations across multiple countries, including familiarity with tax regulations and currency complexities
• Strong ability to lead and motivate remote teams, with a focus on performance and professional growth
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and time zones
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
• Experience with billing and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar), Excel, and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Lead a globally distributed billing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
• Coach and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end billing process across multiple countries and regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related issues, escalations, and resolutions
• Identify inefficiencies in billing workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance accuracy
• Drive improvements in the control environment surrounding billing and revenue reporting
• Leverage billing and ERP systems to improve automation and data accuracy
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, tax laws, and company policies
• Provide regular billing performance reports and insights to senior management
• Work closely with internal teams to implement new processes and address billing challenges
