Summary

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Accounting or Finance related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of billing experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and vendors
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work well with the team and independently
  • Effectively provide change management where necessary

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team performing the monthly workflow for invoicing for Time & Materials and Cost-Plus contracts
  • Review employee expenses
  • Incorporate subcontractor invoices
  • Ensure proper collection of labor costs
  • Creation of invoices, cover letters, and any other supporting documentation
  • Post invoices in Unanet
  • Monitor that all invoices are sent
  • Ensure that all invoices are reviewed and approved
  • Correspond with vendors and Clients
  • Month-end and year-end activities
  • Evaluate billing procedures for inefficiencies and make suggestions for process improvement
  • Participate in the development of a new ERP system as act as a subject matter expert on behalf of the Billing department
  • Other duties as assigned by the Controller or Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
