This 6-month contract position is remote/on-site and requires 1-3 years of experience. You will format and design books using Google Docs, MS Word, and Canva, ensuring visual appeal and adherence to publishing standards. Responsibilities include formatting text and images, designing Table of Contents, applying consistent formatting, adding watermarks, and preparing PDFs for digital and print use. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Format and arrange text and images using Google Docs, MS Word, and Canva
• Design and structure Table of Contents / Index Pages with proper linking (for eBooks) and clean layout (for print books)
• Apply consistent formatting: fonts, headings, spacing, paragraph styles, line heights, and alignment
• Insert and customize Headers & Footers (e.g., page numbers, chapter titles, brand elements)
• Add watermarks (logos or text) as per branding and copyright requirements
• Properly position and format images, tables, and graphics to enhance visual appeal
• Prepare and export PDFs for digital sharing and print-ready PDFs with correct margins, bleeds, and resolution
• Ensure the design meets publishing standards and maintains brand consistency
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and marketers to ensure accurate and timely delivery
