Summary

Join TBL Fund, a national non-profit CDFI, as an Accounting Associate supporting the Controller and CFO. This remote position involves maintaining ledger entries, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing. You will assist in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in financial institution accounting, QuickBooks proficiency, and strong communication skills. Requirements

• Have 3 years of experience maintaining accounts for a financial institution
• Have prior experience with QuickBooks

Responsibilities

• Perform A/P, A/R, and General Ledger functions
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports to TBL Management
• Help ensure TBL Fund is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax fillings, and reporting
• Provide support with monthly reconciliation

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
• Have analytical ability to develop metrics and implement process improvements
• Have strong communications skills
• Be proficient with MS Office
