Summary

The job is for a fully remote Bookkeeper position at a leading laboratory efficiency software company. The role involves managing financial records, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, financial reports, payroll assistance, compliance, audits, and remote support to the accounting department.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Exceptional organizational skills and exemplary attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and driven with a strong sense of urgency
• Proven ability to interact effectively with both customers and internal teams
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, often-async environment
• Conversant in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Manage financial records using Xero accounting software, including tracking income, expenses, and transactions
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Prepare documentation for audits and provide remote support to the accounting team as needed
