Broker Service Expert

Summary

The role involves assisting in all aspects of broking and lending administration processes, managing day-to-day loan processes, providing quotations, and maintaining good communication with clients and lenders. A higher education degree is preferred, and at least 2 years of admin experience in the Australian lending market is an advantage.

Requirements

• A higher education degree is preferred
• Honest, reliable, and hardworking is essential
• Strong problem solving, and mathematical skills are required. Think outside the box and a strong desire to solve problems is required for this position
• A background in sales or customer support is essential with strong relationship building skills
• Highly proficient with MS Office
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) is required

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day loan process, including follow up’s chasing outstanding documentation, loan packaging, and liaising with lender to efficiently support clients' processes
• Order valuations, credit reports, and manage any requests for further information from the lender while keeping the client fully informed, on an online basis
• Support in the admin work for both the firm and its brokerage services, such as managing appointments and providing quotations

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of admin experience in the Australian lending market is an advantage
• Knowledge of current Australian lender policies and capacity to stay on top of lender and market policy movements is an advantage
• Familiarity with loan structures, particularly the difference between Asset Finance and Mortgage Finance is highly regarded
• Experience using ApplyOnline, Quickly, or any other loan application software is preferred
