Business Analyst

Summary

Join European Dynamics as a Business Analyst and contribute your expertise remotely within the EU. Collaborate with the Development team and a major client's IT team. Your responsibilities include business model and process analysis, requirements management, assistance with various documents, integration analysis, data analysis, security assessments, and product ownership. This role requires a university degree in IT, 5+ years of experience in business and functional analysis, and proficiency in various analysis methods and tools. Excellent English is essential. Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 5 years
• At least 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis
• At least 5 years of experience in business process analysis and modelling
• At least 5 years of experience with BPM and JIRA
• Good knowledge of analysis methods and techniques (UML, BPMN, context diagrams, use cases, user journeys and user stories), as well as good SQL knowledge (DB consultation)
• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc)
• Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
• Knowledge of testing skills (design, execution, documentation)
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Business model and process analysis as well as business and functional analysis of IT applications
• Elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation, validation and management of requirements
• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems and Risk Analysis
• Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling
• Provision of security assessments and solutions associated with information systems
• Product ownership of agile product backlog (in charge, supporting or as backup) as proxy PO
• Supporting the development by the team and iteratively testing the solutions
