Summary

Join Masabi, a company revolutionizing fare payment for public transport, as a Business Analyst in their Product team. You will define clear requirements, shaping the usability and flexibility of their platform. This role involves understanding customer needs, improving the mobile ticketing experience, and supporting the development of user-focused solutions. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers throughout the development lifecycle. This is a remote position available for UK-based candidates, offering the chance to contribute to impactful products used by millions worldwide. The role requires experience as a Business Analyst in a software or product-led environment and strong collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Experienced as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a software or product-led environment
  • Able to turn business challenges into well-structured, user-centric requirements
  • Comfortable working with SDKs, APIs, and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Skilled in gathering insights via conversations, workshops, and journey mapping
  • Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills
  • A collaborative mindset, confident communicating across diverse stakeholders
  • Familiar with Agile delivery practices

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights on platform usage, identify challenges, and help shape improvements focused on user experience and functional value
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, working with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers
  • Contribute to feature design discussions, ensuring integration feasibility and alignment with user and business goals
  • Support the development process by refining requirements, clarifying goals, and helping teams build with confidence
  • Help prioritise enhancements and fixes based on user impact, team feedback, and company objectives
  • Facilitate workshops to map user journeys, explore ideas, and gather actionable feedback

Preferred Qualifications

A qualification such as BCS or IIBA is helpful but not required
