Summary
Join LSA as a Business Analyst and bridge the gap between business needs and software development. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements, create detailed documentation (user stories, process flows, mockups), and ensure alignment with agile methodologies. You will work closely with the development and testing teams throughout the software lifecycle, conducting demos and addressing inquiries. This role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, experience with project management platforms, and technical requirements writing. Requirements
- Analysis and critical thinking skills
- Process & design visualization, diagramming, and mockups
- Project management platform (any)
- Detail-oriented & well-organized
- Application & data structure design
- Technical requirements writing
- Data management tools
- Basic understanding of coding principles, databases and APIs
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and project stakeholders to understand business requirements, project scope, and business processes
- Create business process flow diagrams, user interface mockups, and system flows to effectively communicate design goals and requirements to software developers
- Perform work breakdown following agile project management standards and record structure in project management system
- Write detailed and well-organized requirements documentation at the epic, feature, and user story level
- Collaborate with software testing analyst to develop user acceptance criteria, test cases, and test plans
- Conduct demos of completed software and field inquiries of function and design on behalf of the software development team
- Attend team daily scrum, regular project meetings, and all other team functions and project management ceremonies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL
- HTML
- Proficiency in any modern coding language
- Agile, Scrum, CBAP, Six Sigma, & PMP certifications
