Summary
Join The Codest, an international software development company, as a Business Analyst! Work remotely on a project for a leading Asian financial services organization in Limassol, Cyprus. You will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency in business analysis tools. Requirements
- Four or more years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT-related projects
- Advanced English proficiency in speaking and writing (you will work with international clients only)
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, process modeling, and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Understanding of software development and quality assurance processes
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, and process mapping tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops with stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Assess the current business processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Upper Management, Heads of Software Engineering, Chapter Leads, and Project Managers, to ensure business objectives align with technical capabilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility for implementation
- Support non-technical teams in adapting to business processes and methodologies through roadmaps, workshops, and ongoing guidance
- Provide insights into project performance, business compatibility, and potential risks to support strategic decision-making
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of solutions
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization
- Act as a bridge between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring all requirements align with organizational goals
- Analyze business metrics and trends, identify gaps, and propose actionable recommendations to drive business value
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the fintech industry and familiarity with financial regulations
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and their application in business process improvements
- Strong communication and coaching skills to drive collaboration across teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
