Business Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst to manage a critical project for a major banking client. This contract role is remote from Poland and requires 5-6 years of experience. You will be responsible for business analysis, testing, and project management using agile methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses strong documentation skills, experience in risk management techniques (VaR, liquidity risk, stress testing), and a deep understanding of financial data and derivative products. Excellent communication skills and good domain knowledge are essential.

Requirements

• Have 5-6 years of experience
• Possess strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, Impact analysis)
• Understand data used in Risk and Finance with strong knowledge in financial derivative products
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have good domain knowledge
• Have good understanding of SQL

Responsibilities

• Manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain
• Perform hands-on business analysis, testing and project management activities (agile methodologies)
• Gather, specify and clearly document business & functional requirements
• Deliver project in risk management techniques like VaR (Value at Risk), Liquidity risk and Stress Testing models

Preferred Qualifications

• Be FRM certified
• Be proficient in risk and pricing models
• Have exposure to capital markets, products like bonds, derivatives, equities etc
• Have experience in valuation (How to value a bond etc)
