Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, finance, business, or similar discipline
  • An analytical mind with experience in business and financial analysis
  • Creative problem solving / outside-the-box thinking
  • Good judgement; you will be asked to make decisions without constant oversight
  • Proficient in Excel modeling and data analysis
  • Proficient in SQL or other coding language
  • Energy and attention to detail; this is a fast-moving environment and getting the small things right is critical for success

Responsibilities

  • Support various areas of the business by using data analysis to inform decision makers and management
  • Complete opportunity sizing analyses for potential health system partners
  • Represent the pulse of the company through daily, weekly and monthly reports and analyses on key company functions
  • Problem-solve with team members using data-driven approach
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial and operational forecasting models; track performance and communicate discrepancies to the team
  • Guide other teams by researching, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Apply observations and recommendations to increase productivity
  • Protect organization by keeping information confidential
  • Expand knowledge of Shields and specialty pharmacy by participating in the educational opportunities we offer and reading professional publications
  • Support Analytics function across organization

Preferred Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in finance or business-related role preferred
