Summary

Join Version 1, a leading technology services company, as a Business Analyst. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions. Develop business cases and feasibility studies, create and maintain detailed requirements documentation, and facilitate meetings to gather and validate requirements. Support project managers and development teams during implementation and testing, monitor project progress, and provide post-implementation support. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience in business analysis and relevant tools.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and data analysis
  • Proficiency with business analysis and intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with project management and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Knowledge of database management
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Analyse current business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Develop business cases and feasibility studies for proposed initiatives
  • Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirements documentation
  • Use tools such as data modelling, process mapping, user stories and workflow analysis to inform and support decision-making
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather and validate requirements along with communicating findings and recommendations
  • Support project managers and development teams during solution implementation to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Provide support during the implementation and testing phases
  • Monitor project progress and measure outcomes against expected business benefits
  • Provide post-implementation support and assess solution effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or custom software implementations
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio
