Summary

The Business and Systems Analyst Senior Manager will drive XO Health's business and technical architecture to its timely delivery. They will manage a team of analysts, gather and analyze business requirements, design workflows, document technical solutions, collaborate with various teams, coordinate meetings, create project plans, conduct testing and quality assurance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements

  • Managing and mentoring small teams of business and systems analysts and representing the analyst function within cross-functional forums
  • Experience Creating business requirements and technical documentation, requiring the delivery of enabling technology, including digital experience, multi-channel engagement tactics and satisfaction
  • Experience handling multiple projects at one time with multiple external partner involvement
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Understands the Agile project lifecycle
  • Experience in test management and hands on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Junit, or TestNG
  • Experience in the use of standard processes and templates to accurately and concisely write requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience in healthcare and/or life sciences as a Business Analyst for large, complex projects
  • 10+ years’ experience as a business analyst or subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated experience in capturing and documenting business workflow, test scenarios, and ongoing process improvement opportunities
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Problem solve skills while demonstrating influencing skills
  • Ability to reduce manual intervention by offering more automated suggestions/ideas
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to gain trust and respect
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Built strong, constructive relationships to foster collaboration and cross-functional thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Functional Leadership – Manage and mentor a small team of business and systems analysts; create process and standards to track and maintain business requirements and associated technical documentation effectively and efficiently
  • Business Requirements Gathering. – Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs across business units with multiple subject matter experts involved
  • Workflow Design. – Understand workflow design and documentation. Collaborate with business owners, partners, architects, UI designers to develop automation and workflows that will put the right task in the right hands at the right time
  • Technical Solutions Documentation –. In collaboration with the engineering team, document technical designs, architectures, and solutions for various healthcare products and services. Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaboration –. Collaborate with the project manager, stakeholders, subject matter experts and the technology team to promote an environment of collaboration and willingness to listen fostering a collaborative and agile development environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions
  • Meeting Coordination. – Assist project manager with coordination of internal resources for flawless project execution. Assist with coordinating meetings for internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical team resources, if applicable
  • Project Documentation. – Assist with the creation of the project plan to track a project’s progress. Responsible for writing clear and well-structured business requirement stories
  • Testing and Quality Assurance. – Develop and execute test plans and test scenarios to ensure the reliability, performance and security of healthcare software solutions. Create written acceptance criteria and testing scenarios that follow Agile best practices
  • Trouble Shooting. – Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues reported by users or identified during testing. Ability to conduct system audits using analytics to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Respond to questions and issues quickly to avoid potential operational and financial mishaps
  • Continuous Improvement. - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare IT systems and software development. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization to enhance productivity and product quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence preferred
  • Experience with healthcare standards and regulations such as HIPAA and HL7 preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and protocols such as FHIR is preferred
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred

Benefits

  • Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications
  • $120,000 — $130,000 USD
