Business Central Administrator

Summary

Join Ambient Enterprises as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator and become a key member of our IT team. You will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Dynamics 365 Business Central system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business processes. This role involves supporting end-users, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system enhancements. The position requires 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar field. A hybrid/remote work arrangement may be considered. The estimated salary is $100,000-$120,000 plus bonus.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar degree
• Proven experience in with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical personnel
• Solid understanding of financial operational process flows within Dynamics 365
• A proven track record of managing IT projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in both production and non-production environments
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to assess system requests and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Lead business requirement gathering, specification, design, and testing efforts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 projects
• Serve as the primary IT contact for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 technical requirements
• Manage and maintain the Dynamics 365 Version Upgrade process, including meetings and testing with key business users
• Create detailed user documentation and training materials for modifications, extensions, and customizations.  Provide new user training and support
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including user accounts, licenses, and permissions
• Monitor and maintain the health of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 services, resolving issues promptly

Power BI competency for data analysis and reporting
