Summary

Join Veeva Systems, a leading life sciences industry cloud company, as a Consultant in Commercial Business Consulting. You will partner with pharmaceutical companies to solve critical business challenges related to commercial operations, digital transformation, and data analytics. The role involves analyzing and improving sales, marketing, and medical operations, leading software and process improvement engagements, and translating business needs into functional requirements. You will conduct stakeholder interviews, manage project timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD) a plus
  • 3+ years of management consulting experience working with life sciences clients in commercial operations, technology strategy, and/or organizational change management
  • Familiarity with pharma/biotech commercial models, sales and marketing processes, and digital health technologies
  • Experience with Veeva software is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to analyze and improve commercial operations including sales, marketing and medical
  • Lead or support software, data and process improvement engagements working across the Veeva commercial cloud
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and solution designs
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (strategy, data science, technology) to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support business development efforts through proposal writing, presentations, and client pitches

  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in life sciences
  • Interest in helping clients drive innovation through data, digital, and technology transformation
