Summary

Join IOHK's Catalyst Tribe as a Business Development Account Manager and Investor Relations professional. Increase awareness of Catalyst by identifying and developing new sales leads and potential investors. Pitch products and services, maintain customer and investor relationships, and research organizations to identify new markets and decision-makers. Cultivate leads, reach out to potential clients, and work with the team to manage the commercial pipeline. Attend industry events, prepare presentations, manage client relationships, create proposals, negotiate with clients, and plan marketing initiatives. This role requires proven experience in business development, a degree, blockchain/cryptocurrency knowledge, strong understanding of the African market, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a Business Development role with a proven track record
  • Degree educated
  • Knowledge and relationship portfolio within Blockchain & Cryptocurrency worlds

Responsibilities

  • Increase awareness of Catalyst
  • Identify and develop new sales leads and potential investors
  • Pitch our products & services
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and investors
  • Researching organisations to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Further researching organisations to understand company structure, identify decisions makers, etc
  • Cultivating leads
  • Reaching out to potential clients via email, phone or in person to establish a rapport and schedule meetings
  • Working with the team to bring leads and manage the commercial pipeline
  • Working with commercial operations and technical consultants to guide leads through the pipeline process to deal signing
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events where appropriate
  • Preparing presentations for sales meetings
  • Effectively managing client relationships
  • Keeping existing clients informed of updates / development / new products
  • Creating proposals and quotes
  • Negotiation with potential clients
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Keeping abreast of existing sales collateral
  • Effective use of product sales kits during the presales process
