Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum years experience in business development, consultative sales, or client-facing roles
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Understanding of corporate financial analysis and financial statements
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently within a team environment
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with clients and team members
  • A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive B2b outbound calls to prospective clients, facilitating the M&A deal process
  • Qualify businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy
  • Represent our clients’ investment interests to business owners across various industries
  • Apply proven business development acumen to serve clients and help expand the company's footprint across existing and new markets
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand client needs, uncover opportunities, and position solutions that add value
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution across departments
  • Produce timely and accurate KPIs and reports to track pipeline activity and client interactions
  • Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and emerging opportunities
  • Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance or company events

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA a plus, but not required
  • Experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related financial services environment is a strong plus
