Summary

The job is for a Business Development Associate at Whip Around, a growing SaaS company in the fleet technology arena. The role involves learning sales fundamentals, generating qualified opportunities, and working closely with the Director of Sales Development to ideate and execute on new initiatives. The position is remote (US) and progresses to the Business Development Representative role.

Requirements

• 0-6 months of experience in a cold-calling sales role
• Entrepreneurial spirit and confident hunter’s mentality
• Positive, assertive, and magnetic personality
• Open mind to self-improvement through feedback and coaching
• Sense of purpose, and an urgency to achieve it
• Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement

• Ability to recognize the right people to target and engage with
• Understanding of how to monitor and reach target accounts

Responsibilities

• Learn Whip Around’s Fleet Management solution and articulate our value proposition to prospective customers
• Generate qualified opportunities and schedule demos for Account Executives or Senior Business Development Representatives
• Build and manage an outbound sales pipeline
• Identify and understand the pain points of customers
• Navigate the prospect’s organization, identify key business stakeholders, and deliver value
• Handle prospects' objections and concerns regarding the product
• Work with Marketing on trade shows and webinars to drive attendance
