Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare, economics, life sciences, or related field. A PhD or MBA is advantageous
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or sales, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or HEOR sectors
  • Strong knowledge of UK healthcare system, regulatory requirements, and market access pathways
  • Proven track record of successful business development and revenue growth in HEOR, market access, or health economics
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the HEOR function in the UK
  • Identify key opportunities in the UK healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, focusing on health technology assessment (HTA), market access, and real-world evidence (RWE)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop strategic partnerships with UK healthcare organizations, professional bodies, and key opinion leaders
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in HEOR services
  • Develop and present compelling business proposals, bids, and RFP responses to prospective clients
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis
  • Provide insights on regulatory changes, payer expectations, and health policy developments that impact HEOR and market access in the UK
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with UK HTA bodies such as NICE, SMC, and AWMSG is a strong advantage
