Business Development Intern

Summary

Join Wavestone's Asia practice as a Business Development Intern and contribute to the expansion of cybersecurity and digital transformation consulting offerings in Asia. Develop new business accounts, conduct market research, pitch services, build relationships, and participate in networking events. Required: strong interest in business development, sales, and technology, excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and eligibility to work in Hong Kong or Singapore for at least 3 months. Preferred: familiarity with cybersecurity and digital transformation, fluency in additional languages.

Requirements

• Strong interest in business development, sales, and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Proactive mindset, results-oriented, and ability to work with various stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong or Singapore on a full-time basis for at least 3 months

Responsibilities

• Develop new business accounts for our cybersecurity, digital transformation, and innovation services
• Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities and potential clients in Asia
• Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
• Pitching and presenting our service offerings to prospective clients
• Collaborating with the team to develop compelling pitch decks and tailored proposals that align with client requirements
• Building and nurturing business relationships and existing and potential clients
• Actively participating in networking events and industry conferences to expand your professional network and generate leads

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and digital transformation is a plus
• English fluency is required, any additional language (Mandarin, Cantonese, or others) is a plus
