Summary
Join Lyra Health as a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in the UK and Ireland. This full-time, fully remote, 12-month fixed-term contract position requires creating and implementing effective sales strategies, exceeding sales targets, and engaging with stakeholders. You will generate new business revenue, identify market trends, and build a strong sales pipeline. The role also involves managing alliances, ensuring accurate data management, and participating in pricing and proposal writing. Based in the UK or Ireland, some travel may be required. Requirements
- Relevant Bachelorโs degree in business or sciences (preferable, but not essential)
- Extensive sales and business development experience and expertise. Knowledge of the local and global mental health/wellbeing arena is advantageous
- Demonstrable experience in managing sales targets, exceeding Euro/GBP 1,000,000 per annum
- Strong project managements skills to deal with complex projects under time pressure
- Solid experience in working with data and programme reporting
- Excellent presentation skills
- Organised with excellent administrative and prioritisation skills
- Excellent telephone and online manner
- Computer literate
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to close deals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a functional and diverse team
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven track record of building, growing and maintaining a new business pipeline
- The ability to build and maintain relationships and contacts
- Possess the ability to be flexible, prioritize tasks and multi-task
Responsibilities
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy within the UK and Ireland to enable delivery of overall sales targets
- Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., clinical operations, corporate support teams and external affiliates) to effectively engage potential clients to prospect new business
- Generate new business revenue as per allocated targets
- Proactively identify trends within the market to inform and develop value propositions for new or add-on sales opportunities
- Build, grow and maintain a sales pipeline aligned with the overall business strategy
- Coordinate, participate and support all sales processes including monitoring and forecasting of sales performance
- Set up and manage alliances and relationships with various third-party companies such as brokers and channel partners for distribution and/or lead generation
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the companyโs CRM
- Write specifications and proposals
- Participate in pricing the solution/service
Preferred Qualifications
Preference for thorough knowledge and thorough understanding of EAP including commercial underpinnings of such programmes
