Business Development Manager

Summary

Join OKX, a leading crypto exchange, as a (Senior) Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of the OKX DEX API. You will build strategic partnerships, promote API solutions, and enable seamless integrations for partners across various ecosystems. This role demands a proactive individual who excels at identifying and capitalizing on market trends and driving growth. Responsibilities include actively identifying and reaching out to potential partners, developing customized value propositions, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to expand API usage. You will also monitor industry developments and collaborate with product and marketing teams. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in DeFi or blockchain, fluency in English and Mandarin, and a proven track record of closing partnerships in API-driven businesses. Understanding of on-chain trading and Solana ecosystem relationships is a plus.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in DeFi, Web3, or blockchain-based projects
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must to interact with different stakeholders
• Ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task, hit deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and remote workplace

Responsibilities

• Promote OKX DEX API: Actively identify and reach out to potential partners (e.g., wallets, DeFi protocols, AI Agents, trading platforms, etc.) for OKX DEX API integrations
• Develop customized value propositions that align with partner needs and the API's features
• Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the DeFi ecosystem, particularly within Wallets, DeFi Protocols, AI agent platforms, trading bots, and Solana ecosystem projects
• Identify opportunities to expand the API's usage and drive transaction volume across partnerships
• Market Trends & Insights: Proactively identify and capitalize on emerging market trends, exploring opportunities to position OKX DEX API as the preferred solution for a variety of projects
• Monitor industry developments, competitive landscapes, and user demand to inform strategic decisions
• Integration & Growth Enablement: Work closely with product team to support smooth onboarding of partners using the OKX DEX API
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure successful GTM for new integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing partnerships in API-driven businesses would be a plus
• Understanding of onchain trading and existing relationships with leading Solana ecosystem projects
• Candidates with Solana ecosystem resources would be a plus
