Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of Business Development / Account management experience, preferably within the technology or e-commerce sector
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with good analytical capabilities
  • A self-starter and motivated individual with a can't-is-not-an-option attitude. A problem-solver who is not discouraged by failure or mistakes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Hungry and driven to be part of the process of building a successful business in a startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute the companyโ€™s plan in acquiring SMB merchant partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and stay ahead
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (for eg. ops team, account management team and marketing team) to ensure alignment and successful implementation of ShopBack Pay initiatives
  • Provide feedback to help improve and streamline sales cycle with optimised operational process
  • Provide ongoing support to merchant partners, understanding their expectations and optimizing their experience with ShopBack Pay

Preferred Qualifications

Strong SMB merchant connections in the F&B industry is a plus
