Summary
Join Vaco as a Business Development Manager to generate sales, increase revenue, and establish client relationships. Collaborate with teammates to fulfill open positions across various lines of business. Desired competencies include customer focus, results orientation, effective communication, planning forethought and alignment, interpersonal intelligence, decision quality, collaboration, and education/experience in technology sales or staffing.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree and/or 2 to 3 years technology sales or staffing experience required
- Active member of the IT community, networking groups a plus
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain target list developing client relationships
- Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, βad callsβ, skills marketing, email, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods
- Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives
- Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment
- Utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities
- Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate
