Requirements

  • Understand the broad range of manufacturing industries, particularly automotive, and demonstrate concrete successes in consulting and professional services
  • Know and understand the software development lifecycle and be familiar with modern software development practices derived from the Agile model
  • Ask the right questions to understand clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate decisiveness, ambition, and a sense of responsibility
  • Possess relevant professional experience and enjoy customer acquisition in IT and solution selling
  • Have a strong customer focus – your clients' goals are your goals
  • Have a proven track record in positions requiring a strong business acumen
  • Have fluent German skills (C1+)
  • Have demonstrably developed and won complex solutions in the manufacturing sector
  • Be outstanding in managing customer relationships at the management level and thrive in a cooperative and non-hierarchical work style
  • Be comfortable in ambiguous environments, value autonomy, and be willing to take responsibility for your actions and results
  • Possess extensive experience in defining and implementing strategies for new business growth and building pipelines for technology solutions at the management level
  • Be communicative and able to influence at the board level, while being flexible and adaptable enough to collaborate with internal teams on complex projects
  • Have access to an existing, broad network of contacts in the manufacturing industries to improve and strengthen Thoughtworks' market presence

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop a pipeline of new clients
  • Define a suitable go-to-market strategy and appropriate channels for initial customer contact
  • Continuously expand a pipeline of target clients
  • Serve as the internal contact and lay the foundation for long-term customer relationships
  • Engage with client management as a business partner, leveraging the breadth and depth of Thoughtworks
