Join Wrike's Expand sales department as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and contribute to revenue growth by expanding our customer base. You will work with a team of Account Managers and ISRs to identify and generate new business opportunities. Responsibilities include following up on inbound leads, identifying new prospects, conducting client research, qualifying prospects, and using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce. Success requires eagerness to learn, a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, and strong communication and time management skills. Responsibilities
- Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
- Identify new prospects across the business of existing customers
- Actively seek out potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events
- Assess the suitability of potential clients by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they are a good fit for Wrike
- Conduct research on the prospect and their organisation and leverage thoughtful personalisation in your outreach across email, phone and LinkedIn
- Qualify prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity
- Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Salesforce
- Work closely with other BDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging
- Assess the suitability of potential clients by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they are a good fit for Wrike
- Perform research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
- Analyze customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads
- Compile lists of potential leads to contact with information
- Develop and implement email campaigns to attract new leads
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree from an accredited university
- 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or similar role in a B2B business
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong work ethic and a โCan Doโ attitude
