Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will develop a deep understanding of Acquia's internal systems, collaborate with global stakeholders, and create automated reporting solutions. You will refine data processes, ensure data security, and produce accurate reports using SQL and business intelligence tools. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in SQL, data visualization, and relational databases. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar
- 3-5 years applying advanced SQL/MySQL knowledge for analysis, optimizing queries, and building large-scale datasets (joins, subqueries, aggregations)
- Experience using a business intelligence tool (Domo, Tableau, PowerBI, etc) for data visualization
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Familiarity with ETL tools/software and understanding of relational databases, able to effectively join multiple data sources
- Proficient in data modeling, Excel, and overall data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly communicate data insights and technical processes to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently with minimal guidance and supervision in a global environment
- Strong multitasking abilities, able to handle multiple projects concurrently and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a passion for data quality and completeness
- Experience in developing stakeholder requirements into actionable plans, effectively breaking down requests into actionable steps
- Committed to continuous process improvements, identifying weaknesses in current processes, data, and systems and offering solutions for addressing the identified issues
- Comfortable working across various time zones
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Acquia’s internal systems with a focus on data structure and corresponding processes that impact the data
- Collaborate with stakeholders globally to identify key business questions and develop automated reporting solutions, from data extraction to visualization
- Drive data initiatives by refining processes and data structures to enable scalable reporting solutions
- Establish and maintain best practices, oversee permissions, and ensure security within our Business Intelligence tool, Domo
- Audit and verify data accuracy across a variety of systems
- Combine and transform diverse data sources using SQL with Snowflake or Domo’s internal MySQL/ETL tools
- Produce report-ready data tables, by integrating various data sources, complex logic, and business rules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with using Salesforce as a data source
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and experience with GitHub, dbt is a plus
