Summary
The job description is for a BI Analyst position at Blueground. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics
- Excellent scripting skills in SQL, Python or similar for the purpose of data gathering, QA, analytics, and modelling
- Experience in data visualization with tools like Tableau, Metabase, or similar
- BSc in relevant subjects (i.e. Math, Applied Computer or Data Science, Economics, Statistics and/or Business) is required, MSc will be considered a plus
- Analytical mindset and detail-oriented with the ability to focus and prioritize demanding workload
- Self-motivated, self-organised individual, able to work independently
- Agile team-working experience and excellent team spirit
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end KPI tracking or ad hoc analysis as required by defining requirements and providing business insights
- Develop new models and tools, and communicate findings to leadership and the wider team to enable informed strategic decisions
- Develop new, regular, and automated reports from existing databases
- Manage QA data, data processes, KPIs, and various metrics
- Act as liaison with key business partners, ensuring full understanding of data flow, data integrity, and business systems quality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using dbt and exposure to analytics and data science is a strong plus
