Business Intelligence Manager

Summary

Join Jungle Scout's Finance team as a Manager, Business Intelligence, where you will own core tools like Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and Segment. You will manage and optimize data pipelines, reporting, and advanced analytics, including churn modeling and marketing attribution. This remote-first position requires 8+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics, expertise in SQL and Python/R, and experience with specific tools. Requirements

• Ability to balance execution and leadership
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• 8+ years experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics
• Experience with PLG (Product-Led Growth) and Enterprise SaaS
• Expertise in SQL and Python/R
• Expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)
• Experience with churn modeling, customer segmentation, and marketing attribution
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and analysis

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models and data architecture to support business scalability and growth
• Optimize and maintain ETL/ELT processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Manage and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Segment
• Maintain and enhance data models for ARR, retention, customer usage, customer segmentation, user journeys, and marketing attribution
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for key SaaS metrics
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for leadership and stakeholders
• Develop actionable insights through data analysis and reporting to support key business decisions and drive performance
• Build and maintain churn and retention models, predictive analytics, and other advanced insights
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends, anomalies, and actionable business opportunities
• Partner with finance, marketing, sales, and product teams to align on data strategy
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members as needed
