Business Operations Associate

Summary

Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
• You bring 2–4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank
• You’re highly proficient in Excel and comfortable using SQL and data visualization tools to analyze and present insights
• You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and in conversation
• You take ownership of your work and responsibilities, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• You approach your work with a mindset of continuous improvement and a desire to grow personally and professionally

Responsibilities

• Run data analysis and build scalable models that you use to uncover insights and drive decision making for Point
• Translate complex analysis into clear, concise narratives and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders
• Collaborate across product, growth, and operations to implement operational changes and product initiatives
• Own workstreams within complex, cross-functional initiatives, driving progress with structured project management and high accountability
• Design and operationalize new processes that scale with the business and support product evolution and operational efficiency
• Develop a deep understanding of Point’s strategy, product, and business model — and apply a company-wide lens to every project
• Jump into high-priority, fast-moving projects — from supporting capital markets to shaping board-level materials — wherever the need is highest
• Identify and quantify opportunities for automation, tooling, or workflow redesign that reduce manual overhead across the business
• Maintain a high bar for analytical quality and operational rigor, ensuring recommendations are well-supported and executed effectively

• In addition, all employees will receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time. For four weeks after returning from parental leave, and following the use of all other paid leave benefits, you may work part-time, meaning two or three days per week, and receive 100% of regular base pay
