Business Process Consultant

Summary

Join Horace Mann as a Business Process Consultant and contribute to improving processes, procedures, and systems. You will design, develop, and deploy innovative processes, interpret customer requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement. The role involves executing project management processes, researching and implementing changes to company operations, and utilizing analytic tools. You will also lead teams, promote process improvement methodologies, and identify potential improvement projects. This hybrid or remote position offers a competitive salary and is based in Addison, TX or Madison, WI.

Requirements

• Have Project Management Experience
• Have Experience in Benefit Enrollment
• Have Supplemental Insurance Product Knowledge
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management and insurance

Responsibilities

• Support all levels of management in their continuing effort to improve processes, procedures, and systems by designing, developing, and deploying innovative processes
• Interpret critical customer requirements, baseline existing functional processes, and identify cost of poor quality/opportunities for improvement to drive customer retention and grow market share
• Execute disciplined and rigorous project management processes to drive execution in delivering nimble and resilient solutions that not only reduce cost, but clearly differentiate our business by providing a consistent and compelling customer experience
• Research, analyze, develop, recommend, and implement changes to improve overall company operations in alignment with divisional and corporate objectives
• Utilize analytic tools, methods, policies, metrics, and management practices to manage and continuously optimize an organization’s activities and processes
• Assist in complex, unstructured special projects or ongoing assignments at the direction of Sr. Management
• Deliver successful, focused departmental projects using effective strategy and Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Lead and direct teams in project execution and introduce the Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools to team members and other groups
• Promote, teach, and support process improvement and quality assurance methodologies and consulting services throughout the organization
• Identify and solicit potential improvement projects for consideration by management

Preferred Qualifications

Possess Lean Six Sigma Black belt, Green belt or comparable quality designation (or must be capable of obtaining Lean Six Sigma designation)

Benefits

• Pay Range: $58,300.00 - $91,600.00
• Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc
