Summary
Join our team as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for a 7-month remote contract, focusing on Oracle EBS Order-to-Cash (OTC) modules and Revenue Recognition. You will partner with business and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate on system improvements. Your expertise in Oracle EBS OTC modules, including Order Management, Accounts Receivable, and others, is crucial. You will also support month-end and quarter-end financial closes, implement Revenue Recognition models, and troubleshoot system issues. Experience with Zuora is a plus. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a BSA working with Oracle EBS OTC modules
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash lifecycle, revenue streams, and billing processes
- Proven experience implementing or supporting Revenue Recognition models, ideally with knowledge of ASC 606
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile or hybrid project environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process
- Provide functional expertise in Oracle EBS OTC modules including but not limited to: Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Credit Management, Cash Management
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design documents
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Perform configuration, testing, and validation of system changes related to OTC and Revenue Recognition processes
- Provide support for month-end and quarter-end financial closes, particularly focusing on Revenue Recognition compliance and system readiness
- Support the implementation and enhancements of Revenue Recognition models to ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards
- Analyze and troubleshoot data or system issues, coordinate fixes, and document resolutions
- Assist in designing and implementing integrations with Zuora (as applicable)
- Create and maintain documentation, including business process flows, functional design specs, and user training guides
- Provide post-deployment support and conduct user training when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Zuora Billing and Revenue modules
- Experience with integrations between Oracle EBS and cloud-based platforms like Zuora or Salesforce
- Prior experience in subscription-based or SaaS business models
