Summary
Join WatchGuard as a Channel Sales Manager and contribute to the success of our network security product sales within a defined geographic territory. You will work closely with assigned partners, developing new sales opportunities, expanding existing business, and ensuring partner satisfaction. Responsibilities include creating business plans, delivering business reviews, providing partner enablement, and collaborating with internal teams. Success will be measured by meeting sales goals and maintaining strong partner relationships. This role requires extensive channel sales experience, a proven track record in partner management, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Experience channel management in mixed territories
- Track record of success in partner management and leading sales situations
- History of consistent plan development and quota achievement
- Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills
- Ability to self-manage and work remotely
- Ability to travel 50%+ and to global locations
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
- 7+ yearsโ experience in channel sales in related industry
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent training in business, sales, or marketing
Responsibilities
- Focus on partner relationship management to achieve results in revenue
- Work directly with assigned partners of different levels to develop new sales opportunities and expand existing joint business
- Maintain regular contact with partners to ensure satisfaction and continued success
- Development of annual business plans with each partner including but not limited to growth targets, marketing events and enablement plans to be reviewed and adjusted throughout the year
- Create, present and deliver accurate business reviews, strategic plans and forecasts to internal management teams
- Provide partner focused enablement to sales teams ensuring that partners are positioned and inspired to win with WatchGuard products
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and marketing teams both internally and with partner teams
- Create and perform partner and end user sales presentations
- Be knowledgeable of all WatchGuard products, services, and internal sales tools with an emphasis on MDR solutions
- Other duties and projects assigned
