Join Verkada, a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, as a Partnerships Lead. You will be responsible for developing and managing key partnerships with Convergint across the Western U.S. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, experience in channel sales, and proficiency in Salesforce. You will drive collaboration with Verkada's sales teams, champion partner education, and execute marketing strategies. The position involves significant travel and requires a process-driven yet creative approach. Requirements
- Industry Expertise: Deep connections and/or channel management experience with major National Physical Security Integrators in the U.S
- Proven Success: A track record of channel sales achievement, with recognitions like President’s Club or similar honors
- Process-Driven & Creative: A disciplined approach to processes combined with the creativity to craft scalable, effective strategies
- Relationship-Builder: Exceptional skills in engaging stakeholders at all levels, from Sales to the C-suite
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Salesforce and other business software, with the skills to leverage data for impactful decisions
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Charisma & Precision: A compelling communicator with a meticulous eye for detail
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time across the West Coast to visit Convergint offices nationwide, as well as attend events, trade shows, conferences, and more
Responsibilities
- Lead Partnerships: Identify, prospect, onboard, and strengthen relationships within Convergint across the Western half of the U.S., becoming their trusted advisor
- Drive Collaboration: Work closely with Verkada’s sales teams to pinpoint key opportunities, forecast growth, and clear obstacles to success
- Champion Education: Elevate partner knowledge on Verkada’s products, programs, pricing, and campaigns, enabling them to position our solutions effectively
- Engage in Marketing: Create and execute customer-focused and internal partner marketing strategies that drive results
- Strategize for Success: Conduct quarterly and ad-hoc business reviews with partners to align on goals and showcase successes
- Report & Optimize: Regularly communicate partner achievements and key metrics while recommending improvements to channel tools, incentives, and go-to-market messaging
