You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, audit oversight, cash management, tax compliance, and provide support for M&A activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in a global accounting environment, managing financial functions across multiple entities and regions
  • Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles, particularly in the tech sector
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to financial controls and operational improvements
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level or above)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with CFOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Maintain and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with US GAAP
  • Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective financial audits
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and support continued growth
  • Oversee corporate income tax and sales tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns
  • Provide accounting support for due diligence activities in M&A transactions and funding rounds
  • Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and internal accounting processes through advanced technology and ERP systems
  • Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree and/or CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification
  • US GAAP
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central or other ERP systems
  • Experience with cash management, tax planning, and audit oversight
  • Familiarity with international financial regulations, sales tax laws, and compliance practices
