Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in a global accounting environment, managing financial functions across multiple entities and regions
- Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles, particularly in the tech sector
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to financial controls and operational improvements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level or above)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with CFOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with US GAAP
- Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective financial audits
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and support continued growth
- Oversee corporate income tax and sales tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns
- Provide accounting support for due diligence activities in M&A transactions and funding rounds
- Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and internal accounting processes through advanced technology and ERP systems
- Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- A Masterβs degree and/or CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification
- US GAAP
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central or other ERP systems
- Experience with cash management, tax planning, and audit oversight
- Familiarity with international financial regulations, sales tax laws, and compliance practices
