Requirements
- 15+ years in software architecture, engineering leadership, or cloud solutions design
- 10+ years in designing and implementing cloud-native applications on AWS
- Deep expertise in multi-tenant SaaS architecture and distributed systems
- Strong background in microservices, API design, GraphQL, gRPC, and RESTful services
- Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go for cloud-native application development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Strong knowledge of serverless, Kubernetes (EKS), and containerization best practices
- Proven ability to lead architecture teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with C-suite executives, stakeholders, and clients
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance business goals with technical feasibility
- Passion for staying ahead in cloud technology, security, and compliance trends
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic architecture leadership by defining and executing a cloud-native, AI-driven architecture strategy that aligns with business goals and desired outcomes
- Promote the adoption of AWS best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and security across the organization
- Establish and maintain a robust multi-tenant, serverless, and microservices-based architecture while implementing architecture review processes that align with audit, compliance, and security standards
- Lead the integration of advanced technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), Agentic AI, and AI automation to enhance audit and compliance solutions
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Security teams to translate business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions
- Architect and optimize solutions leveraging a broad range of AWS services, including compute options such as AWS Lambda, ECS, Fargate, and EC2; storage solutions like S3, EFS, and Glacier; databases including DocumentDB, DynamoDB, RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and Amazon Redshift; networking and security components such as VPC, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, IAM, and AWS KMS; serverless and event-driven architecture tools like SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions; and observability and monitoring services including New Relic, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and OpenTelemetry
- Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation, while optimizing application architectures for high availability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency
- Define best practices for microservices, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and API-first design, while promoting architectural patterns such as domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architectures, and CQRS
- Guide engineering teams in the modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native architectures, and champion the integration of AI/ML-driven automation to enhance auditing and compliance processes, including the use of AI-assisted code generation and DevOps automation
- Ensure adherence to key regulatory and security standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other financial compliance frameworks, while enforcing a zero-trust security architecture, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure software development practices
- Additionally, guide teams in implementing AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to strengthen security and ensure system reliability
- Lead and mentor a team of solution architects and senior engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies including AWS advancements, AI/ML, and blockchain to enhance auditing solutions, and serve as a strategic technology advisor to executive leadership, partners, and clients
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with AI/ML integration in financial/auditing applications is a plus
