Summary

Air Protein is seeking a strategic finance leader with experience in both corporate and startup environments for the position of Chief Finance Officer. The role involves overseeing financial operations, developing financial strategies, managing financial risk, building relationships with stakeholders, and leading a high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of direct fundraising experience of over $100MM, strong finance or accounting training, and experience working in a startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required, with an MBA preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in finance, fundraising, investment banking, licensing deals, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in building and scaling businesses

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including cash management, investments, insurance, real estate, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support Air Protein's growth plans
• Manage financial risk through assessment of company balance sheet; evaluate and manage the company capital structure
• Build relationships and work with government, financial institutions and investors to identify and develop creative financing strategies, and secure funding for the company while minimizing financial risks and equity dilution
