Summary

The job is for a technical team leader role in a project with around 20 team members, focusing on key technical decisions, defining the technological stack, establishing development methodologies, designing the technical team structure, and guiding new team members. The required experience includes at least 4 years as a CTO or similar roles in startups or medium-sized companies, with a proven track record of creating digital products with budgets around 5M€ that have reached operational phase (at least 1 product), and a significant number of users. Technical skills include proficiency in backend or frontend leading technologies, experience in cloud environments such as Azure, deep knowledge of agile methodologies and DevSecOps, team leadership and negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, continuous learning about new technologies and products, and passion for UX-UI.

Requirements

  • Experience as CTO or similar roles: minimum 4 years in startups or medium-sized companies, having created products digital with budgets of around 5M€ that reached operational phase (at least 1 product), with a significant number of users
  • Solid technical background: at least 10 years as a software developer in leading backend or frontend technologies. Technical experience (Software Engineer, Architect, SRE, etc.), allowing to lead and be a reference in technical discussions
  • Experience in cloud environments: especially in Azure, with passion for WAF e IaC
  • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and DevSecOps
  • Experience in creating high-performance teams: experience forming development teams from scratch, with at least 20 people. Advanced skills in managing agile and multidisciplinary teams and end-to-end projects
  • Leadership and negotiation skills: ability to lead and mentor technical teams to achieve objectives. Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills: competence in formal and informal communication, both oral and written, to interact with technical and business profiles
  • Continuous learning about new technologies and products, including open-source solutions. Passion for UX-UI

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical team of the project (+20 people) and make key technical decisions
  • Define the technological stack, selecting and establishing the optimal technologies for the development of the platform
  • Establish the methodology of work for the platform development
  • Design the technical team: create the structure of the technical team, define roles and plan incorporations
  • Accompany in the integration: guide new members in their integration to the project
