Requirements

  • 7+ years in technology leadership roles, including at least 2+ years in a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar capacity
  • Deep expertise in Python , SQL , and cloud-based architecture (preferably AWS or GCP)
  • Proven experience building and scaling data-intensive products , ideally in analytics, audience measurement, or related domains
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern data pipelines, orchestration (e.g., Airflow), and real-time or batch processing
  • Strong grasp of statistical analysis, survey data , and data quality management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Plum’s long-term technology vision and roadmap
  • Lead architecture decisions for data pipelines, analytics platforms, and internal tooling
  • Manage and grow cross-functional teams: engineers, data scientists, analysts
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure, DevOps processes, security, and scalability
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of all technical projects
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives and partnerships
  • Represent the tech function in board-level discussions and investor communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of media and entertainment ecosystems (streaming, TV, film)
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau , Power BI , or custom dashboards
  • Experience with machine learning pipelines and predictive modeling at scale
  • Exposure to investor or venture capital environments
