Summary
Join rockITdata's Mission Support team as a System Administrator. You will be responsible for resolving incident and request tickets, providing technical writing and monitoring support, and creating weekly status reports. This role requires experience with Citrix and Azure virtual desktop solutions, troubleshooting, and security best practices. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is needed, along with the ability to pass a background check. Requirements
- Experience as Citrix admin, troubleshooting and implementing virtual desktop solutions
- Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure virtual machines, active directory and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps, desktops, Storefront, and Citrix Director
- Experience troubleshooting issues in Citrix and Azure
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication and role based access controls
- Performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodology experience
- Experience with security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Customer service experience and experience working with users using Microsoft Teams and WebX
- Documentation and communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering or other Engineering or technical discipline β or 8 years of additional relevant experience
- Ability to pass Tier 2/Moderate background investigation
Responsibilities
- Perform incident and request resolution/escalation tickets and provide technical writing and monitoring support
- Provide weekly status reports to show progress
- Virtual desktop and application solutions
- Triage, troubleshoot, resolve or escalate requests and issues
- Use standard processing in handling and documenting tickets and meet standard level of service for ticket resolution
- Act as liaison between leadership and team
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Citrix and Azure technologies
